Egyptian singer Angham . Egyptian singer Angham refused to accept the negative criticism she is bombarded with due to her singing in the Gulf dialect. The singer stated she just completed preparing an album sung entirely in the gulf dialect.
Angham stressed that she is not ashamed to sing in a different dialect than the Egyptian and considers it a positive thing as long as she does not sing in Hebrew.
The singer said that this is not the first time she sings in the gulf dialect and in the past she had submitted two gulf albums with Suleiman Al Mulla and a third album in which she sang a collection of Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo’s songs.
Angham stressed that she would not let her fans in the gulf countries down by not singing in their dialect, in addition to the fact that she is able to mast the dialect and can sing any song.
The singer added that she is not in need of achieving fame, for she already is where she wants to be in her career, and she does not know why it would bother people if she sang in a different dialect then Arabic as long as it is not in Hebrew.
