Speaking exclusively to Arabstoday, the actress told us the film is based on a crime and thriller genre with plenty of action and suspense. Hoping for the success of the upcoming film, Randa added that it may attract a new group of audience for her as it is unlike her previous roles. Randa also pointed out that a good film can gain success regardless of the timing of its release - bearing Egypt's political turmoil into mind. "Sabobh" also stars Ahmed Haroun, Khaled Hamzawy and Dia al-Mirghani. It is written and directed by Peter Mimi and produced by Joe Daniel - his first production experience.
