Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab The Algerian newspaper “Al Shurooq” recently published an article stating that Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab has placed unreasonable conditions to sing in Algeria. It stated
that singer demanded to be paid an amount of 90 thousand US dollars and a private plane.
The Algerian newspaper wrote that the singer’s conditions with the company wishing to organize a concert for her are not realistic and show that the singer would only sing if the price is high enough. An agent for the company said that Shireen demanded to be paid the large sum of money and to have a private plane bring her to Algeria and another plane to transport her band.
The company refused all of Shireen’s conditions especially since she is not considered one of the top Arab singers in Egypt or the Arab world, and nominated a different Arab singer to hold a performance that will take place on July 19.
