Syrian actress Solaf Fawakherji revealed that she signed a contract to participate in "Rouh"(Spirit) series, which is written by Islam Youssef and directed by Khaled Al-Hajar. "When I read the screenplay of the series, I was very impressed by it after the director Khalid Al-Hajar submitted the work to me and giving me starring role," Fawakherji.
"The work is part of a series of 60 episodes, and it is a "psychological drama", but it is a completely different type that has not been dealt with before," she added.
Fawakherji refused to announce her role in the work, stressing that it will be a surprise for her fans, pointed out that the work scheduled not to be presented in Ramadan, which is the most important reasons why she agreed to participate in it. She said that the month of Ramadan will be full of many artworks as well as presenting her series in the regular months allows the viewer to continue to follow it well.
The Syrian actress revealed, in exclusive interview with Arabs Today, her participation in " Hegrat al-Saaideh" series, noting that the work is written in great craftsmanship. She also added that her role in this series will be quite different from what she presented before.
She announced that she will play the role of dancer, and this character has not provided before, stressing that she trained to dance and to speak the dialect of Upper Egypt's people, but the work has been postponed because of the production conditions, so it came out of the Ramadan race this year.
Regarding the reson for her absence in the Egyptian drama, Fawakherji stressed that she decided to focus on the Syrian work as a kind of moral support to her country Syria, as well as waiting for a strong work to return through it to the Egyptian fans again, so she decided to return through the series "Rouh" which will be a strong and different return.
Fawakherji said she was very proud of Cleopatra and Asmahan roles, adding that her new series Rouh will be filmed at the end of April.
