Egyptian singer Soma revealed that she prepares for recording her new album after she chose the songs she will perform, saying that she will work quietly to offer the best of what she has. She added that she will present a single song during the coming period to keep her presence in the singing career.

She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that there is a need for resolving the problems of hijacking, saying that the Egyptian authorities should perform their role to resolve this problem as soon as possible. She blamed the economic situation for production weakness, expressing her aspiration for the improvement of the singing career during the coming period.

She expressed her appreciation to her daughters, describing them as the most precious thing in her life. She added that they give her the motivation to achieve success. She added, “I deal with my daughters as friends despite their childhood. I hope to be their friend to keep their secrets with me in the future. This matter needs early qualification since their childhood. One of my daughters strongly loves Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram like me, while the other is very similar to me.”

She revealed her desire to perform new duets with a large number of singers, while she stressed the need for finding the new ideas. She stressed that she does not care of the competition with other artists, saying that she gives the priority to her work. She stressed that she works to meet the aspiration of her fans regardless of what the others present. She refused the attempts of linking between her and any of other artists, saying that each singer has what distinguish him from the others.
