During “The Tiger who Came to Tea” theatrical show

Little ones were taken on a magical adventure during the weekend thanks to the show ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea,’ which was staged at Masrah Al Qasba - Theatre, receiving a huge footfall of audience. Three performances of the famous children’s story play took place at the venue, with each one eliciting laughter and sounds of delight from the children attending.

Based on the renowned story by British author Judith Kerr, the play recreated the tale of the young Sophie who answers the door to a tiger ringing her doorbell and asking if he can have something to eat. Sophie duly lets the tiger in and offers him tea and cake, but he eats and drinks everything in the house. Sophie’s mother then can’t find anything to cook for her dad when he comes back from work, so they explain about the tiger and what he did. Sophie’s dad then takes them out to dinner. On their way home, they buy food, including some for the tiger.
