Egyptian artist Yousra expressed her concern over the health condition of her mother who suffered recently from high temperature, saying that the case witnessed notable improvement after subjecting to the medical supervision. She added that she prays to God for prolonging her life, stressing her need for her prayers for her to achieve success.
She added that she currently prepares for a new TV series underlining specific social category. She clarified that it will be directed by Hany Khalifa, saying that the details of the new series will be revealed during a press conference in the near future.
She described 2016 as the year of success and sorrow, saying that she presented strong messages to the community through her work, while she also lost her dear friends during the last year, including Egyptian actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.
Yousra stressed that she is satisfied over her career, expressing her aspiration to achieve more success during the coming period to satisfy her fans. She praised Egyptian Director Hany Khalifa, who directed her TV series “Above Reproach”, saying what attracting her to work with his is her mentality.
The Egyptian superstar added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that she supports the young artists in different fields, not only in personification. She added that she performed a number of songs during her career.
Yousra expressed her appreciation to the Egyptian actress Shadia, saying that she is considered the model for all superstars. She stressed her keenness to contact with her and other great actresses from the previous generations, including Madiha Youssry. She lamented the departure of Egyptian actress Faten Hamama.
Regarding her relation with Egyptian popular superstar Adel Emam, she said that Emam is talented artist who has deep vision upon which he chooses his works. She added, “I cannot say that my roles in his movies pushed them to the impressive success that they achieved, as his works have been successful even before my participation with him in any films.”
She added that the cinema festivals witnessed notable progress across the world, including the festivals organized by the Arab countries, praising the festivals of Egypt, Emirates and Tunisia.
