Alexandria's train collision

Alexandria University hospitals received 71 people, who were injured in the collision between two trains in Alexandria on Friday.

Some 42 of the wounded were moved to El Amiri Hospital, while 29 others to Smouha Hospital, Dean of Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University Dr. Ahmed Osman told MENA.

A medical team, comprising a group of specialists in the fields of neurology, blood vessels and orthopedics, was formed to check up the injured, he added.

A collision involving a train traveling from Cairo and another from Port Said left at least 36 dead and 123 others wounded in the coastal city of Alexandria.
