Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday voiced satisfaction about the outcome of Egyptian pro-Palestinian efforts.

The Egyptian efforts led to dissolving Hamas’s administrative committee and allowing the national accord government to exercise its powers in the Gaza Strip and organize presidential and legislative elections.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Abbas will meet with Palestinian leaders to follow-up the relevant developments after concluding his current visit to New York.
