The death toll from a collision of two trains in Alexandria on Friday rose to 21, the health minister's adviser, Sherif Wade'i, told MENA.

The collision also left 109 passengers injured, Wade'i said, adding that the injured suffered from mild and critical injuries.

The health minister ordered the formation of an operations room to follow up the developments of the train collision, he added.
