The Armed Forces Medical Service Department organized on Friday the third oncology conference at the Military Medical Academy in Cairo.

The event was held under the auspices of Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi.

The conference shed light on a number of research papers on the types of tumors common in Egypt and preventive measures taken to fight the disease.

Also, several lectures were held to brief young doctors on the techniques used to diagnose tumors at early stages.
