Aswan Criminal Court's high appeals chamber rejected on Saturday releasing ex-lawmaker Mohamed el Omda on a 10,000-pound bail in line with a previously issued court ruling.

The court will hold a session on September 10 to consider the case.

The former MP is accused of inciting riots against state institutions, as the authorities found posters inciting violence in his possession.
