Bid to smuggle more than 8 mln pills of drugs foiled in Port Said

An attempt to smuggle more than 8 million pills of Tamol has been foiled at East Port Said port, northeast of Cairo.

Acting upon a tip-off, the authorities found the banned drug shipment concealed in a container coming from Singapore.

An investigation has been launched into the case.
