The Cairo Criminal Court Tuesday, under Counselor Mohammed Nagy Shehata, sentenced to life 43 defendants over the acts of violence that took place outside the Cabinet and the parliament headquarters in downtown Cairo in December 2011.
They were ordered to pay a fine of EGP 17.684 million in compensation for the damage they caused during the 2011 violence.
Nine juveniles were sentenced to ten years in prison and one for five years. 
Ninety-three defendants were acquitted during Tuesday's trial as well.
Activist Ahmed Doma along with 229 defendants were earlier sentenced to life in jail, while 39 others were sentenced to 10 years in prison. All defendants were fined EGP 17 million in the same case.
The defendants face charges of setting fire to public facilities including the Egyptian Science Complex, the Cabinet and the parliament, blocking utilities and possessing drugs.
Clashes broke out between protesters and security forces outside the Cabinet headquarters in December 2011, leaving at least three people dead and 255 wounded.
