Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has wrapped up a visit to Paris where he had several meetings.
The visit had many goals including securing support for Mushira Khattab, Egypt's candidate for the post of UNESCO chief.
Shoukry met while in Paris with Libya's army commander Khalifa Haftar and presidential council chief Fayez Sarraj who were in the French capital for a joint meeting with President Emmanuel Macron.
The top diplomat also conferred with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian.
