Egypt's Defence and Military Production Minister Mohamed Zaki met with his French, Greek and Cypriot counterparts Florence Parly, Panos Kammenos and Savvas Angelides, respectively, on the sidelines of the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2018) in Cairo.
Zaki discussed the latest regional and international developments as well as enhancing military cooperation with the three countries.
The ministers hailed the well-organised exhibition, which is considered one of the most important military events in the Middle East, stressing the depth of the historical ties between Egypt and the countries participating in the event.
Meanwhile, the Chief-of-Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mohamed Farid met with the chiefs-of-staff of the Jordanian, Greek, and Saudi armed forces during their visit to EDEX 2018.
The meetings were attended by a number of top brass and the military delegations accompanying the defence ministers and chiefs-of-staff.
