Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with President of the National Assembly of France Francois de Rugy in Paris Wednesday.
During the meeting, Shoukry and Rugy discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of common interest, including counter-terrorism efforts and developments in Libya, Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.
A meeting between Shoukry and Secretary General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development Angel Gurria is also scheduled later today.
The meeting will discuss means of bolstering technical support offered by the organization to the Egyptian government to continue its economic and administrative reform process.
earlier in the day, Shoukry met with head of the French Senate Committee of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces Christian Cambon.
