Spokesman for the Palestinian Fatah Political Movement Osama Al Qawasmi praised Thursday the Egyptian efforts aiming at establishing reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas.

Al Qawasmi said in a press statements that Egypt's role is essential and vital in reaching reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas, underling Fatah's confidence in Egypt's ability to overcome any obstacle facing reconciliation between the two disputed Palestinian parties.

He pointed to Fatah's keenness to make efforts and remove obstacles facing reconciliation with Hamas, adding that the process will need patience and determination.

In addition, he stressed on the importance of achieving national unity and reconciliation among all Palestinians.
