The Egyptian archaeological mission in Bir Shaghala area in Dakhla Oasis unearthed this year five cemeteries dating back to the Roman era.
The cemeteries are built with mud bricks, head of the archaeological sector at the Antiquities Ministry Ayman Ashmawy said.
The mission will continue excavation in the site to uncover more secrets about the area, he added.
