The cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) denied news posted in social networking websites that citizens with salary exceeding EGP 1,500 will not get ration cards.
In a report, the IDSC said that it contacted the Supply and Internal Trade Ministry which stressed that the news are bare of truth.
The ministry urged the media to be accurate and to contact the ministry concerned before spreading any news that might anger the citizens.
