Bethlehem - WAFA
A Palestinian young man was reportedly injured last night after he was shot by Israeli occupation forces who raided his family home in the village of Nahalin, near Bethlehem in the West Bank, according to local sources.
Mayor of Nahalin, Subhi Zaidan, told WAFA that an Israeli army force smashed the doors and raided the family home of Nouriddin Mohammad Shakarneh, 20, in the village while opening gunfire and firing stun grenades inside the home, injuring Shakarneh in his pelvis.
Shakarneh was moved to a nearby hospital for treatment where his condition was described as moderate.
The Israeli soldiers’ firing of gunfire and stun grenades also left damage to parts of the home.
During the offensive in Nahalin, the Israeli forces arrested two young Palestinians after raiding their homes.
This was not the first time Israeli occupation forces open gunfire at defenseless Palestinian civilians during night raids.
