Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al Sabah stressed Sunday on the deep rooted Kuwaiti-Egyptian relations.
Al Sabah said Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah always underlines the importance of enhancing and developing the excellent relations with Egypt in various fields.
The Kuwaiti minister made these remarks in a meeting with Chairman and Editor in Chief of the Middle East News Agency (MENA) Ali Hassan, which was attended by Egypt's Ambassador to Kuwait Yasser Atef.
The Emir of Kuwait constantly expresses his desire to enhance cooperation with Egypt in different fields, taking into account the interests of both nations and the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, in addition to issues of concern to the Arab nations, the Kuwaiti minister said during the meeting.
Furthermore, the Kuwaiti minister pointed out that his country prioritizes the relations with Egypt and Saudi Arabia as both countries are considered to be vital axes of the joint Arab efforts.
On the other hand, Hassan underlined the deep-rooted relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries in achieving the aspirations of their peoples and serving the interests of the Arab world.
He pointed out to the close points of view between both nations in several issues, at the fore front the fight against terrorism and the rejection of external interference in Arab affairs.
In addition, he explained that both Egypt and Kuwait work together on achieving stability and security in the region and finding peaceful solutions for different conflicts in a number of Arab countries.
Hassan stressed that Egypt under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi seeks to boost relations with Gulf countries, at the fore front Kuwait, pointing to Sisi's many supportive positions towards Kuwait.
