Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Saturday welcomed the liberation of the northern Syrian city of Raqaa from Daesh terrorists.

Moscow deems the liberation of the Deash-controlled city a major step toward eliminating terrorism in Syria, Ryabkov said in statements.

He underlined the necessity of inclusive cooperation in fighting terrorism with a view to limiting the unpleasant repercussions of such operations.
