Preparations are underway to form action groups to follow up the implementation of the sustainable development strategy "Egypt Vision 2030", Planning Minister Hala el Saaed said.

The action groups' formation comes upon President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives during the National Youth Conference that was held in Alexandria city in July, the minister said in a statement on Friday.

President Sisi is keen on following up the formation of those action groups and allowing youth to participate in the sustainable development strategy, the minister added.

The Planning Ministry is launching e-applications to help youth to register for these actions groups and give them the opportunity to express their proposals and views with regard to updating the strategy, Saaed added.
