Prosecutor General Nabil Ahmed Sadeq ordered Friday an immediate investigation in the train crash in Alexandria that left 36 persons dead and 123 others wounded.

An Alexandria-bound train coming from Cairo crashed into another one while being on way from Port Said to Alexandria.

It is not yet known what caused the two trains to collide.
