Head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation (SCMR) Makram Mohamed Ahmed hailed the deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Yemen.

During his meeting with Yemeni Culture Minister Marwan Damaj, SCMR chief stressed Egypt’s support to the Yemeni government and people as well as its keenness on reaching a political solution to the Yemeni crisis.

Meanwhile, Damaj lauded Egypt’s historical role in Yemen in the fields of defense, humanitarian, culture, education and health.
