Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, currently in Paris, met with chairman of the French Senate Foreign Relations and Defense Committee Christian Cambon on Wednesday.
On his Twitter account, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said the two sides will discuss boosting Egyptian-French relations in all domains as well as the latest developments in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen.
Talks will also tackle efforts to fight terrorism and extremism.
Shoukry headed for Paris on Monday as part of an European tour that includes Belgium and France to deepen Egyptian-European partnership in all domains.
