Muslim Brotherhood

Fourteen members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group were remanded in custody Wednesday for 15 days pending investigations.

They were charged with staging illegal protests and possessing leaflets and printings that incite violence and propagate the MB thought.

In December 2013, the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a 'terrorist organization', blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide, including their regular protests.

Most leaders along with thousands of members of the group have been tried and sentenced so far.
