Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed over phone the recent developments in Syria, particularly in Aleppo.
Cavusoglu informed his opposite number that Turkey did the necessary contacts to remove the danger imposed by the regime and its allies during the evacuation of civilians from the city.
The Turkish official stressed the importance of European countries boosting their aid to the crisis in Aleppo, noting that Ankara will make efforts in this regard.
For his part, Steinmeier touched on the humanitarian aid that his country can offer for those who left Aleppo.
