The new President of the Central African Republic Faustin Archange Touadera arrived on Tuesday in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo capital, for a working visit, an official source said.
Touadera was received at Maya-Maya international airport by his Congolese counterpart Denis Sassou N'Guesso, the former international mediator in the Central African Republic's crisis.
According to the agenda, the two leaders will hold a meeting during which they will discuss issues of bilateral relations as well as the prevailing security situation in Central African Republic.
Central African Republic's new president who was absent during the swearing in ceremony of his Congolese counterpart on April 16, equally came to congratulate him following his recent re-election.
Touadera's visit to Brazzaville is the second since his election on April 14, 2016.
At the height of Central African Republic's crisis, the Republic of Congo gave the country financial aid of 25 billion CFA Francs (over 43 million U.S. dollars), besides sending soldiers and police officers to help in restoration of peace.
