Board Chairman and Editor-in-chief of the Middle East News Agency (MENA) Ali Hassan highlighted on Monday the keenness of Egypt on promoting the common cooperation with China in different fields.

During his reception for China News Service (CNS) President Zhang Xinxin, Hassan said that mutual visits between the Egyptian and Chinese sides indicate that there is great cooperation in several issues related to peace and security in the Middle East region.

Meanwhile, Xinxin said that Chinese President Xi Jinping appreciates President Sisi for his wisdom and role in achieving peace and security in the region.

He added that the Chinese media considered that MENA is major reference for them in the news related to Egypt and the Middle East countries because of its credibility and objectivity.

Hassan and Xinxin agreed on preparing a common cooperation protocol between the two agencies.
