President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said his meeting with Burkina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kabore covered regional political and security developments, including the situation in Libya and the African Sahel and other African developments.
He said talks showed that Egypt and Burkina Fast share close viewpoints towards different topics and are in an agreement on the importance of achieving regional peace and security and fighting terrorism and organized crime in African Sahel region.
For his part, Kabore thanked Sisi for inviting him to visit Egypt, adding that they discussed boosting cooperation in various fields including health, military ones, along with efforts of fighting terrorism.
He expressd readiness to benefit from the Egyptian experience in fighting terrorism to enhance peace and stability in Africa.
