Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil has discussed with a delegation from the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece means of boosting partnership relations between the private sectors in Egypt and Greece in order to develop cooperation in the industrial fields.
"Egypt and Greece have great industry potentials especially in the sectors of textile, engineering and food industries, information technology and construction materials," he said during a meeting with the delegation.
For his part, President of the federation Athanassios Savvakis asserted that Egypt is a transit point for the Greece industrial exports to Africa.
Egypt and Greece are studying the establishment of a navigation line between Thessaloniki port and an Egyptian port to streamline trade between the two countries, he added.
