Egyptian House of Representatives Speaker and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of Union for the Mediterranean (PA-UfM) Ali Abdel Aal will preside over two meetings of the union to be held at the headquarters of the House of Representatives on September 16.
Abdel Aal will address the two meetings.
The meetings will discuss combating terrorism in the Euro-Mediterranean region, creating a permanent secretariat of assembly, and efforts to release the frozen funds of the assembly.
Abdel Aal took over the one-year rotating presidency of the assembly in May of 2017.
