President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted his keenness on doubling the volume of trade and investments between Egypt and Tanzania as well as boosting cooperation in the domains of agriculture, industry, medicine, energy and mineral resources.
The president also pointed out that a number of Egyptian companies are already working in Tanzania in the fields of construction, engineering consultancy and infrastructure as well as capacity building and expertise exchange.
Sisi also hailed his Tanzanian counterpart Joseph Magufuli’s efforts in combating corruption as well as enhancing Tanzania’s administrative performance.
The president announced his appreciation for Tanzania and its president’s role to preserve peace and security in the African continent especially the African Great Lakes.
Sisi invited Magufuli to visit Egypt to continue talks concerning boosting mutual ties. He also said that the joint committee meetings will be resumed soon to implement the outcome of the two leaders’ talks.
