Arafat announced a number of measures and incentives that should help attract more navigation lines to transit ports in Egypt.
He told reporters the government is applying, as a first step, the all-inclusive bill system at maritime ports affiliated with the Suez Canal Economic Zone. 
A strategy has been outlined to upgrade the fleet of the Egyptian maritime transport sector, Arafat announced.
