US President Donald Trump replaced White House Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, by retired General John F. Kelly.
Trump tweeted on Friday: “I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House chief of staff. He is a great American and a great leader. John has also done a spectacular job at Homeland Security. He has been a true star of my administration, “according to the Guardian news
Trump announced the move in a day after his new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, accused Priebus of leaking information to reporters in a profanity-laced tirade. Kelly, a retired four-star Marine general, has been serving as Homeland Security secretary.
Priebus is the latest in a long line of officials to leave or not take a job at the White House.
