Tunisian Minister of National Defense Abdul Karim al Zubaidi underscored the importance of promoting military cooperation with the UAE in a way that strengthens the two countries' military capabilities.

Zubaidi made the remarks during his meeting with UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohamed bin Ahmad al Bawardi on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2017, the Tunisian Ministry of National Defense said in a statement.

The Tunisian minister also voiced hope that the UAE would be one of Tunisia's leading partners at the military level in light of the ties binding the two countries.
