wo Palestinians were killed in the West Bank this morning during clashes in Nablus and Ramallah, as the Israeli army continues its military operation in search of the three missing settlers.
According to Palestinian sources, Ahmed Khalid, 35, was shot four times and died later from his wounds in Ein Beit el Ma refugee camp in Nablus. He was on his way to a mosque for morning prayers as clashes were taking place, according security officials. Family members said he was mentally disabled.
According to eyewitnesses, the soldiers asked Khalid to go back home, but he refused and insisted on walking to the mosque. At this point, a soldier pointed his rifle at him and shot him several times from point-blank range, reports Ma'an.
30-year-old Mahmoud Atallah, was shot during clashes with the Israeli Occupation Forces at the entrance to Ramallah. According to Palestinian security sources, five other Palestinians were injured.
Mahmoud's body was found dead on the roof of a commercial building that was located just opposite of where a group of Israeli snipers were stationed.
The Israeli Occupation Forces raided different neighbourhoods in the city of Ramallah, breaking into different homes and shops. The Palestinian youth clashed with the soldiers and reports say there has been more that 10 Palestinians injured.
