Dozens of extremist settlers on Thursday stormed “Joseph Tomb” east of the West Bank city of Nablus, under heavy protection of the Israeli forces, a Palestinian source said.
The Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the northern part of the West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said in a statement that a number of Israeli military vehicles carrying Jewish settlers stormed at dawn the West Bank city of Nablus and spread around Joseph’s Tomb.
Confrontations burst out in the area between the Israeli soldiers and young Palestinians, the statement added.
