Israeli forces arrested in the wee hours of Tuesday 16 Palestinians in the West Bank.

In a statement released by the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said Israeli troops seized four Palestinians in Hebron, two in Qalbiliya, two in Nablus, two in Bethlehem, two in Salfit and one in Tubas.

Israeli troops also detained a Palestinian citizen and his two sons in Jenin, the statement added.

Meanwhile, an Israeli archaeology employee accompanied by an Israeli officer conducted a provocative and dubious tour at al Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli settlers also stormed into the holy shrine under tight Israeli security.
