Israeli occupation forces arrested 525 Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian lands last months including 139 children and 7 women, according to four Palestinian institutions concerned with prisoners affairs and human rights.
These institutions are: The Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission, the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights and The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS).
They said the number of Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails stands at 6,500 including 54 female prisoners, 10 female minors, 300 children and 468 administrative detainees.
The institutions condemned violations committed by the occupation forces against the prisoners and urged the international community to take effective measure to force Israel to respect their rights.
