Israeli forces Friday and late Thursday detained at least six Palestinians during raids across the West Bank, said witnesses.
Israeli forces detained a Palestinian after violently ransacking his family home and assaulted his father in Shweika area, north of Tulkarem.
They also detained another Palestinian and interrogated his father and brothers after storming their home in the same area.
Large number of soldiers reportedly raided the area, where they thoroughly searched many houses, interrogated owners and fired many concussion and fire bombs at protestors.
A similar raid was reported in Beit Lid town, east of Tulkarem, where a woman was held for several hours and interrogated.
Meanwhile, undercover Israeli forces infiltrated Jamma'in town, southwest of Nablus, kidnapping two Palestinians from the vicinity of their home.
Local Fatah spokesman Hamza Abdullah said that uniformed soldiers set up roadblocks at the town entrances at the time of the detention before raiding the town.
In Jerusalem district, troops detained a Palestinian from Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, after stopping him at a junction leading to the nearby town of al-Ram.
Thursday evening, three Palestinians were detained after being stopped at an Israeli military roadblock at the eastern entrance of Anabta town, east of Tulkarem. They are residents of Shweika.
