The Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign against 15 Palestinians from different parts of the West Bank. Israeli army spokesman claimed that most of the detainees were "wanted" and had been transferred for interrogation.
Meanwhile, a number of Palestinians on Tuesday suffered from tear gas inhalation during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces in the town of Rummanah, northwest of the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, local sources said.
The sources told Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that residents confronted an Israeli army force that raided the town. The Israeli soldiers fired tear gas at the Palestinians and homes causing suffocation cases.
Israeli forces also raided the village of Anin, also near Jenin, and carried out wide-scale search in the agricultural areas and homes but did not arrest anyone.
