Israeli occupation forces disperse anti-settlements protest

The Israeli occupation forces dispersed Friday an anti-settlements protest by use of force in the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilya.
The protest was organized by a number of Palestinians to demand the reopening of Al Qarya street, which had been closed for 14 years.
At least 11 Palestinians were wounded after the Israeli forces fired rubber bullets at them to disperse the peaceful protest.
An eight-year-old child Khalefa Reyad Shetwei was among the injured, Coordinator of the Palestinian Popular Resistance Movement Murad Shteiwi said.
