Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes

Israeli settlers attacked on Wednesday Palestinian homes in the northern West Bank village of Urif, located south of Nablus, according to Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities.

He told WAFA that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar attacked homes in Urif, smashing windows and causing panic among the civilian population. At least three homes suffered damage.

Residents attempted to fend off the settlers and tried to push them away from the village leading to clashes between them.

There were no reports of anyone hurt.

Meanwhile in the Jordan Valley, settlers chased shepherds off the fields their sheep were herding and stole a goat that belongs to one of the shepherds, according to Aref Daraghmeh, a local activist.

Shepherds in the Jordan Valley live from raising livestock that usually roam the open fields for food.
