Jewish settlers and students, early Tuesday, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem.

The General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, told Petra's reported in Ramallah that the raid was carried from Al- Magharebah Gate under heavy protection of Israeli police and special forces.

The settlers made provocative tours in the compound amid a state of anger among Muslim worshipers.
