Israeli occupation forces arrested on Friday Al-Quds Mufti Mohamed Hussein after they assaulted him near Al Aqsa Mosque.
The move came after the Mufti called on Palestinians to disobey the the Israeli orders to prevent people from praying inside Al Aqsa Mosque in the wake of the armed clashes that erupted earlier in the day.
The clashes have left two Israeli policemen dead and another one wounded, while three Palestinian young men were killed outside Al Aqsa mosque.
