Palestinian national and Islamic powers in Ramallah and Al Bireh governorate renewed their rejection of the US stance which they described as biased towards the Israeli occupation, pointing to the pressures being exerted on Palestinians to return to the US-sponsored bilateral negotiations which had previously only led to the establishment of more settlements.
In a statement issued after their meeting in Ramallah Sunday, the Palestinian powers called for protest marches against the US bias towards the Israeli occupation in conjunction with the visit of Jared Kushner, Senior Adviser to US President Donald Trump, scheduled by the end of August.
The statement also affirmed that Palestinians will stand up for their rights of return, self-determination, and national independence, stressing that peace is established through the recognition of national rights.
The statement urged Palestinian parties to heal the sharp divisions among them and to take forward steps towards achieving national unity.
The statement also condemned the demolition of houses in Deir Abu Mash'al, Silwad and Al Quds by the Israeli occupation forces, stating that Palestinians will continue their popular resistance until the occupation ends.
