A Palestinian young man was critically injured Saturday after being shot during clashes with Israeli forces in the town of Al Izariyeh, east of Al-Quds, said the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC).
Fresh clashes have erupted between Israeli forces and Palestinian protesters in several areas in Al Quds and the occupied West Bank (WB), as Israeli police started dispersing Palestinian worshipers camping near Al-Aqsa mosque.
The worshipers rejected to pass through metal detectors erected at the entrances of the holy site, after a shooting attack in which three young men and two Israeli policemen were killed.
Clashes were also reported at Qalandia checkpoint in the West Bank after Palestinian leaders called for a march of anger" on Friday.
